Smartphone Dictation Apps

There are many smartphone dictation apps out there, but here are two that have been designed by the leaders in the field of Professional Dictation.  Both are just one part of a whole dictation workflow system.

OM System (formerly Olympus) and Philips, both longtime leaders in professional dictation and transcription, have included smartphone dictation apps in their secure cloud-based dictation workflow systems. Both Philips SpeechLive and OM System ODMS Cloud allow for instantaneous sharing of dictations between authors and transcriptionists anywhere and anytime; where files are stored in the cloud and a dedicated server is no longer required. Transcriptionists can log in from anywhere and have instant access to files for transcribing, or for editing Speech to Text generated transcripts.

Both solutions are subscription-based - with constant updates that are readily available while you have a current subscription – and both have Speech to Text capabilities.

Both solutions allow for upload of dictations from professional dictaphones, and both solutions include a smartphone dictation app with author subscription.
